NYFW Day 2

Ah New York, I feel so sad to be leaving already. The days here were quite hectic, especially since we had to travel to so many locations every day. Do you have those mornings (afternoons and sometimes nights!) where you feel like there just ins’t enough caffeine that can be consumed to get you through the next activity? That’s how jet lag makes me feel sometimes, but once the hustle and bustle of Fashion Week gets under way I’m riding on adrenaline. Sleep can wait until I get home A

Out on the streets again, it’s a lot colder than it looks. When you see the sun you think YES it’s a beautiful day and I can wear whatever my heart desires. That is until you open a window or door and are swiftly reminded of the season when the wind hits your face. Oh well, time to dress-up the layers again. Don’t mind if I do! This printed sweater jacket was just what the doctor ordered to keep the cold out. The horizontal strips of white and delicate peach hues really complement the dark navy blue and faded cinnamon color, don’t you think? I also like that the jacket doesn’t have a full length sleeve because it gives you the option to get creative with what you’re wearing underneath. I opted for a creamy oversized sweater dress to keep the heat in, but boosts the elegance factor. Pairing the tops with faded jeans and white sneakers makes this the perfect on-the-go casual look, but you can always ditch the jeans and wear this with a nice black leather heel, if you’re brave enough for bare legs!
