As I get so many questions from young women around the world who would love to experience fashion week, I thought it would be nice for a change to shoot my look prior to the shows at one of the main NYFW locations: Lincoln Center.
When walking (sometimes running) to the show, it's always incredibly interesting to see how everyone is doing their own thing: street style photographers, people who are on their way to see the show, people who rock amazingly creative looks, tourists or locals who love seeing what's going on. There's such a nice vibe going on!
Last night I was talking to Annick about my personal style and how I love to try things out especially when it comes to fashion week. One of those experimental looks, I was completely obsessed with, was the one you see in these images. I was wearing this breathtaking Avelon skirt, a gorgeous Eres body, statement Stella McCartney sunglasses, and Prada heels that made this outfit fierce and complete. When posting a photo on Instagram I mentioned how people would either love or hate the outfit and unexpectedly I only received positive messages saying things like 'what's not to love?'. And that's also one of the many reasons I love you guys so much, I feel like we have the same style, the same dreams, and the same drive to experiment and try things out, of course not only when it comes to fashion. It's kind of cliche but I feel like we understand each other not only over the web but also when meeting each other.
