It's Sunday and there's no reason to leave my sweet home today, especially since the weather is terrible. Can you imagine middle in the summer it feels like 18 degrees outside while it rains at the same time? You probably can if you're Dutch as well or when you live in the surrounding countries. The positive side of this bad summer weather is that it helps me to get some work done instead of wanting to run outside and enjoy the beautiful weather. We're talking loads of e-mails, loads of projects we still have to sort out in every detail, and also we're opening our first office tomorrow!!! A
You guys, I'm so so happy that from now on we don't have to work out of our living room any more. For some of you it's probably hard to imagine how much work goes behind all of this, but that's something I really love to share with you. In the last year we grew so much thanks to your sweet support. I feel so grateful to discover this whole new world and share it with you guys. Over the last couple of months we build an entire team consisting out of myself, Maurits, our photographer, a coordinator of projects, and so on. In total we will be with 7 incredibly talented people who are going to support and get the most of out everything we do. We try so hard everyday to make the content look better, come up with new topics on the blog, and work out every little detail just to inspire you more and more every day. I love reading your suggestions and thoughts because honestly it's this way that we grew so much together where you guys and I get inspired by each other. A You guys truly are my number one motivators and source of inspiration.
To top it all of I can't wait to show your guys the new concept and design or our new blog very soon. It took us almost a year to figure everything out. Working until late almost every day and in the weekends was sometimes challenging, but so worth it when I see everything come together. I'm so curious to see your response, wishing I could be with all of you in one place and show you everything we changed on the blog myself. A Unfortunately, you guys come from all over the world which actually isn't unfortunate at all. I think it's beyond amazing how so many people from different parts of the world have the same taste, get inspired by the same things, and have the same goals in life.
Concerning the office we still have to decorate it completely. We've spent two weekends at different interior stores but we find it incredibly hard. So once we figure out the entire interior I'll make sure to share it with you. I can talk to you about these things for hours as it makes me so happy to share this with you guys, but you might get tired of this already so I'm going to save the rest for later and move on to this outfit.
Last week I felt like a yellow flower that celebrated summer. Of course it's all because of this off-shoulder bright yellow top of which I'm completely obsessed with. Overall, I have to say that off-shoulder tops really stole my heart again, and luckily I saved mine from years ago in my wardrobe. Remember this one I showed you guys on Instagram? It's from H&M, probably from 7 years ago.
