Did you already build up your own spring/summer wardrobe? Hopefully my outfits of the past month have been inspiring for you guys. Again a lot of experiences pass by the past thirty days. From travelling around between lovely locations (Valencia, Copenhagen..), to many nice other occasions in Holland as well, like getting dressed up by Dior for the YSL movie première and fun family days such as the Persian new year and birthday celebrations etcetera. Since we started a new (sunny!) month, I’ve put my five favorite outfits of March together in a recap. This time in a refreshing lay-out, to try to inspire you even more. What do you think about the idea? Hope you like it!

Look 1: Structures & Sunshine

What better way to start this monthly recap with this sunny spring shoot in Spain. I’m still very excited that I had the chance to meet Valencia and its beauty. During our trip to this Spanish city, I got so inspired by this modern part of Valencia, The City of Arts and Sciences, that I dedicated my outfit to this beautiful location. And I must say, I’m very proud of this total look. Everything fell into place. While I was wearing the white blue ensemble of Kora Rae and my hair in a sleek ponytail combined with the gorgeous modern buildings in the back, it gives a structured, clean and sophisticated overall look. I’ve collected several minty, blue, white options for you to put on your shoppinglist:

Look 2: Romantic Rewind

As you might know by now, I’m a sucker for nudes, naturals and pastels this season. But of course I wanted to give my outfit that edgy twist, like always. So I mixed the romantic soft feeling of the nude clothes with two favorite classics of mine in a bold, brown color. Funny detail: My hair has the same two brown-tones as my Louis Vuitton bag; So this look is contrasting, but still in balance. For this classy au naturel kinda way of dressing I dare you guys to check in your wardrobe and rewind in fashion-time. You never know which classic beauties you’re gonna spot to mix your outfit with in a new way. That’s the fun of fashion right? Here some examples of classic items, bold & natural colours:

Look 3: Romantic & Rock

Another favourite of mine from this month is again an outfit in a romantic but edgy kind of vibe. I completely fell in love with the Valentino bag, and this bag immediately tells you the spirit/the story behind this outfit. The pastel colour fit with my fashionneeds for this spring of course ;) On the other hand the golden studs gives a luxury, but also rock sporty touch to the look. I tried to manage this ‘look and feel’ into the whole outfit, as you can see in my studded cuff and shoes, sporty military colored cargo pants and cropped sweater. If you love this sporty and sexy kind of look, you can try it yourself with the following examples. For the rock-finishing touch, choose for leather in these colors:

Look 4: Natural & Naranja

Viva Valencia! In celebration of this wonderful city and of course the sunny weather, I wanted to bright up my nude toned outfit. So I added a pop of colour to my comfy look. I styled the knit and the loose boyfriend jeans with a matching bright color, orange, by coincidence the color of Valencia, and of course the colour of Holland ;) So Dutchies, since it’s almost Kingsday (26th of april), hopefully you get some inspiration by this moodboard. If you like this look, but you’re not a huge fan of orange you can change it for other trendy colors for this summer, like bright blue or fuchsia. Put some spicy heels and sexy jewelry on, and you are ready. The outcome: a flirty but comfortable look to travel and explore around!

Look 5: Pastel Pretty

For my final favorite outfit I choose this dreamy chic one. I just can’t get enough of the pastels, but of course I wanna try to give a surprising feel each time to every single one of them. So I finished this complete white natural look with this special pretty vest in a chestnut, rusty kind of color. All the fabrics are very flowy, smooth, and soft, so perfect to wear to a romantic relaxing date. If you’re not that into long clothes to keep the contrast, you can choose short soft items and play with the details instead, like embellishment or embroidment on your outfit as you can see in this moodboard:
