It felt like a true summer night, the neighborhood seemed lively, and the Roman locals were so kind. The sky was clear, which was a way for the moon to emerge bright and obvious. It appeared to be the perfect setting for another goodbye to another city.
More mosaic, ruins, and marble – you guys are probably thinking that I visited all the historical buildings for two days straight, lol. But seriously, I admire these places so much that I just have to share this with you. This location really had something special as I find it so interesting to learn how the Romans used to live years and years ago.
Ruins of statues, monuments, and other buildings: today's biggest tourist magnet called Foro Romano used to be the center of Rome. During our visit, I immediately got immersed by the Roman antiquity and imagined how the people lived here centuries ago. Criminal trials, gladiatorial matches, and public speeches were held here: things I can only imagine thanks to movies and books about the Roman history.
