Every once in a while, I experience a moment where I realize what’s important in life. It’s a moment when it all comes naturally – a pure feeling, as close to myself as I can be. Fashion represents who you are and the way you feel, so all I need are a few good basics during moments like these. And when it comes to those core pieces, I prefer simplicity to complexity.

As most of you know, Maurits and I spent a couple of days in Milan last week and of course I’m sharing some of my looks with you guys! This one is a look that’s tough and sturdy thanks to the item where I build the rest of the look around: this grey leather jacket. I’ve had this one for more than a year now, as it’s one of those items that’s wearable for a very long time. I already know for sure that I’ll be wearing this pal again next year, so it’s really worth an investment!
