I can’t believe it, but tonight was our last night in Los Angeles, which means we're flying back home tomorrow. We had such a magical experience both here in L.A. as well as in Palm Springs for Coachella. Since it was my first time here I really didn’t know what to expect. I had some ideas based on things I’d heard and seen online, but what I can say now is that it is definitely worth the hype. Anyway, I will be sharing more about our adventures here but first I wanted to share a casual look we shot when we were still in The Netherlands.

We all tend to dream of what our lives could be like if we got everything we wished for. Whether it’s big or small, wishes are not usually easy to attain, but none the less we still hope for everything to work out. Before reaching this point in my career, fear and anxiety were both big factors in my life. I was more averse to taking risks when I was younger than I am now because I’d always think about the what if. What if I failed? What if my goals didn’t play out the way I’d hoped? While in school I realized I wanted to do something more creative with my life and being aware that this wasn’t something I was exactly learning during my studies, I had to push my worries aside and take more daring steps in the direction I wanted to reach my goals.

Exploring Sevilla

Since we are leaving for LA tomorrow, I was so excited to spent the weekend celebrating the holidays and a few birthdays with my loved ones. I really value the time we share together, especially before a big trip because it mentally prepares me and helps me to relax a little. When we were in Sevilla, we didn’t exactly have time to relax. Our trip to Spain last week was definitely too short (only 24 hours!), but it was totally worth the visit. As our time was so limited we had to make the most of it and I think we did just that! After shooting a special project (the one I’ve been leaving hints about on Instagram), we had some time to spare in the morning before heading off to the airport. What better way to spend my last hours in Sevilla than discovering the beauty of the city?
