Crackled Leather and Miu Miu Slip-ons

Last night we've arrived home after our two-day trip to Berlin. Since there were lots of impressions, emotions and I only slept several hours during two nights it feels like I've been in Berlin for a week! :) I was incredibly happy en thankful to have won the award for "Most Promising Fashion Blogger" at the Stylight Fashion blogger awards. Tomorrow you can expect an extensive post with all the photos and my thoughts on it. Can't wait to show you!

For now I wanted to reveal one of my all time favorite looks! The two main items of the look that made it so comfortable, chic, and with an edge are the Miu Miu slip-ons and the crackled leather Sandro jacket. Now you know I asked you on my social pages whether to choose the black or white slip-ons. I experienced a small personal dilemma and I didn’t want to get them both. Warm Winter

Winter this year in Amsterdam has been great to me! Normally around this time of the year it would be snowing, freezing, storming and it would be an absolute struggle to shoot an outfit post outside. This winter though, I can wear ripped jeans, unzip my jacket, and I haven't even really caught a flu (yet, which is a first). I mean I wouldn't mind it to be extremely cold, I would even enjoy playing in the snow but (a big but) it has to be for a maximum of a week. :)

Remember this Sandro jacket I showed you a week ago? It quickly became one of my favorites. The thing I like about it the most, is that you can just throw it on and you're good to go. It always finishes off a simple outfit where it seems like you've actually put a little effort into it. So it's basically my savior jacket that helps me to look representable for a day full of meetings while I didn't have enough time to get ready in the morning. Eye-catching Bustier

When attending a party or event there are times when I want to look moderately festive wearing a simple dress and killer heels. There are also times I feel like I want to do a little more effort by wearing an eye-catching, head-turning outfit. Do you recognize this feeling? When I'm in that mood this look is exactly the one I would choose.

Next to being an instant eye-catcher, when you take a closer look you will get hooked on the details of the bustier. I've given this look, and especially the bustier one of the best places in my wardrobe and I've caught myself looking to the details over and over again. To start of the fabric, it's made out of cotton silk, and just as the skirt it has a gold exposed zipper at the back. The bustier is finished with hand embroidered details of gold beading, blue and yellow shades which is definitely my favorite part of the items....
