Clothing has this incredible ability to reflect or uplift your mood. That’s a lot of power given to fabric! When I was younger I had a favourite shirt in my closet that I would always pull off its hanger and put on when I was feeling a little down. It had this magic ability to heal, boosting my spirit in an instant and comforting me like a cup of tea when I’m sick. I think it’s nice to have a few pieces of clothing that are reliable and always there for you when you need them.
I don’t know about you guys, but with the snow this past week I was in desperate need of some higher temperatures. I figured there must be a way to warm up without actually jumping on a plane. Instead, feeling inspired by the thought of the sea and sandy beaches, I wanted to find a dress to match my warm vision and what is better than Dolce & Gabbana when you want to bring on the heat?
My love for makeup has definitely evolved from something small, where I'd only use a bit of mascara and foundation in high school, to a greater passion where I get to feel like an artist experimenting with shades and shapes.
