As I already told you in yesterday's post, since our arrival back home the weather has been treating us very bad with clouds, rain, and wind. Today it's supposed to feel a bit more like summer, which makes me all excited about the beach, what about you? Also, next week we'll be leaving for Ibiza. We've visited Ibiza a couple of times now and we always keep on going back there. It's a gorgeous island; it has beautiful beaches; there's an amazing atmosphere; the people are very nice, and it's great to party as well as relaxing. :)

So this time I wanted to share with you all my essentials I take with me while going to the beach. :)

To begin with, there's nothing more that sets me in a beach atmosphere such as my bikini, this striped bag and this very cute make-up bag inside.

My make-up bag is filled with some skin-care products as well as two make-up products, just in case I'm going somewhere afterwards. So let's go through the items.

First and foremost, I have my Chanel Hydra beauty essence mist with me, which is ideal to bring to the beach. It's incredibly refreshing and very hydrating for the skin. I usually spray this on before I go out and get some lunch. I also always bring with me, my Estée Lauder concealer. Now you might wonder why I bring this with me, but honestly I always like to conceal my dark circles even when I'm headed to the beach. But this concealer in particular contains SPF 35, which is a high protection for around the eyes. I really recommend using such a high SPF as the eye area is very vulnerable.

Then for my face I like to bring with me Collistar's Magica CC Stick, which offers a high protection, but also a little coverage for your face, which evens out the skin tone! It comes in a stick form and I have it in their transparant version as well. For my lips I forgot to bring an SPF with me this time (bad girl), but luckily I had this very cute version of the Vaseline lip therapy in Cacao butter. I found this during my last stay in New York and it has been in my bag since.

Sometimes after the beach we will have dinner at a beach bar or somewhere else, and first I like to refresh my face with the Chanel mist I just mentioned. Then I'd like to add a little colour to my cheeks and lips. You can use this Pot Rouge from Bobbi Brown (Rose 10) for both purposes and saves me some space. The colour is perfect to add a subtle and healthy glow to the face, but you have to apply a very small amount of the product.

And I think that everyone should bring an anti-bacterial hand gel with them. This will come in handy at so many moments, that I really can't stand it when I forget to bring this with me. So this items should definitely be on your beach essentials list.
Finally, don't forget to take your sunglasses with you. I usually bring my Ray Ban Wayfarers with me, as it can handle a lot when it comes to dropping it, or accidentally sitting on it, which somehow happens to me all the time. Oh, and I always bring gum with me as well. :)

So what is on your beach essentials list?
